Making knives is a recent thing for me. From a young age I have used knives of one form or another and have always valued their use as a tool. I am an outdoorsman; it's where I love to be, be it hiking across the Lakeland fells or pitched up for a few nights in the woods with friends. It's all the same to me. I also enjoy shooting, in whatever form it comes, rabbits for the pot or shooting cans with a catty in the garden; I have a Fish Hunter and I must say it's great fun.

Knives are the tools of freedom in the wild places, with a good knife you can accomplish most things needed to be comfortable and at home. It's with this in mind that i set out to provide those tools to likeminded folk at a cost that hopefully ensures they are used as the tools they were made to be, yet still be of a high solid quality that a good tool needs to be.

I use 01 high carbon tool steel for my knives, a common steel for knife use and rightly so, it is a good steel that holds a good edge for a long time and is still easy to sharpen, especially in comparison to lots of stainless steels which are designed to resist wear( which is also a good thing). I use a variety of handle materials; with over 20 species of wood available as well as some synthetics, I'm sure there is something for every taste.

My knives and sheaths are fully handmade by myself in my workshop, I use steel sourced from Sheffield.

All my knives come with high quality handmade sheaths in a variety of styles and configurations.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
